ValutraxTM is built on blockchain, a distributed, decentralised database that allows information to be securely stored in a digital format. This enables:

Blockchain works in a shared network, where data can be uploaded and validated to provide real-time, transparent information on a product and its journey from mine to market.
A tamper-proof option
A single, unified view of data associated with the provenance and sustainability of a transaction which, once recorded, cannot be tampered with.
Fully secure
Information is encrypted from end-to-end on a private, permissioned blockchain. Customers are able to access their information via a secure portal, with individual, unique login keys.

Sepik Minerals’s shipping team coordinates the transport of over 70 million tonnes of raw materials and metals annually.
In 2021, we announced our ambition to achieve carbon neutrality for our controlled ocean freight by 2040, a natural extension of our commitment to be carbon neutral across our mining operations by the same year.
